Writers' Guidelines
Thanks for your interest in writing for Super Natural Horses. We are currently accepting submissions for a range of articles related to any aspect of natural horsemanship.
Please send query letters or articles to editor@supernaturalhorses.com with the article pasted into the body of your e-mail. We will not open attachments.
Possible topics include:
- how-to articles addressing common (and not-so-common) issues in training and/or riding your horse naturally;
- problem-solving from a natural horsemanship perspective; and
- interviews with well-known natural horsemanship professionals.
If you're trying out a new natural horsemanship technique, especially on an unbroken or wild horse, and want to send us several updates on how it's working out, we'd also love to hear from you.
Once your work is accepted, you grant Super Natural Horses one-time publication rights and archival rights to the article. The copyright remains with you, and you may freely republish the article in the future.
By submitting your work, you are guaranteeing that you have the rights to the article, and giving us permission to publish it on the Super Natural Horses website. Some articles will also appear in our newsletter. If we make more than minor spelling or grammatical changes, we will get your approval before posting the edited version.
We are a new site, and regret that we cannot pay for articles at this time. However, we do provide exposure. You will get a link to your website at the top of the article, and a brief biography with another website link at the bottom. (Check out one of our articles for an example.)
