Event: Finding a Feel. In collaboration with Alexa Linton

Website: http://www.lodestarhorsemanship.ca

Phone: (250)315-1098
Details: Feel has often been thought as difficult to obtain not because it takes years of horse experience, or exposure to talented instructors and/or horses. It can be challenging because it is not a skill that is developed 'out there'.It comes from inside......and, yes, it does have everything to do with feelings....Horses are on the forefront of assisted guided therapies with their innate ability to allow deep access to ourselves and as such are gaining tremendous attention these days. However, it usually occurs with ''therapy' horses, and not our own. This course will allow us to really appreciate the horse we have drawn to us. Their unique ways of reflecting back to us ourselves: our weaknesses, strengths, unspoken truths, hard places and resistances. They can allow us the safety to begin to feel..........and then we can feel more acutely for them and deepen our relationship to an incredible new level. Develop mindful awareness, presence, sensitivity and softness....all stepping stones to feel as we present it to our horses and they in turn reflect it back to us.....
In this collaborative Workshop, Stefanie will be working with Alexa Linton, a Certified Equine Sport Therapist, Kinesiologist (BSc), Reiki Practitioner and Certified BodyTalk/AnimalTalk Practitioner.
It is our intent to really dig in and begin to unravel the true meanings of "Feel" and allow for tremendous opportunities for growth.

Advance your partnership and move towards excellence!

This is the perfect clinic for those of you who are already playing at Level 2 on the ground and need help getting over the hump into Level 3 and getting confident about Freestyle riding.

In this clinic the emphasis is on confidence and fun, on advancing your communication online, on learning to be in harmony with your horse and on how to get your partner to be in harmony with you. You will learn more about Horsenality and we will be emphasizing freestyle patterns and carrot stick riding. Time spent in the clinic will be 1/2 groundwork and 1/2 riding each day as long as both the human and horse are ready.
